NGC 134
NGC 134
NGC 134 is an intermediate barred spiral galaxy situated 60 million light years away in Sculptor. The galaxy spans 150,000 light years which is larger than the Milky Way which it is thought to resemble. The galaxy is highlighted by numerous dust lanes, loosely wrapped spiral arms and a warped disc. This suggests possible past interaction with another galaxy.
